Yes, that is my hand and the bird was sitting on it before taking flight. Lake Tahoe, Nevada, 19th March 2009.

I could have lightened this up but i like it dark and moody. This is at Phillip Island race circuit, our friend Michael Loccisano is second from the left. A largely unsuccessful weekend of photography, just to put a dint in my confidence after feeling good about shooting last weekend...oh well!

NYC September 2003. I took this while on tour with The Distillers and The Bronx, and for these shows, QOTSA as well. We were only in NY for one day, it was all so fast i hardly remember being there...wait, maybe that's not really why I don't remember! This photo, and the one below of Matt are 2 of my favourite photos that I've ever taken.
